“Grow your own Weapons” : A Permaculture Perspective to Primitive Archery
You have a thriving food forest, perennial trees and shrubs filling your landscape. Have you thought of another use for that wood besides mulch, fuel or mushroom growing? Join us for a two hour presentation to open your eyes to a different use for the materials on your homestead that could lead on a path of Primitive skills and tools for pest control and food gathering. Beaufort Traditional owner and Permaculturalist Blayne Prowse will give a power point presentation along with some demos on different materials for bows and arrows. A shooting demo and plenty of time to ask questions about the pursuit.

A born and raised Comox Valley resident, married, and father of two Blayne has a lifelong desire to learn outdoors skills. Upon completing his PDC in 2012 and thinking that was his path to a new fulfilling career, primitive archery almost fell in his lap. Now utilizing his Permaculture background, Blayne is building a business around archery, helping to introduce people to the sport and the art of creating your own weapons from nature. This event is being held inside but we will have some hands on demonstration outdoors. Please dress appropriately.

What’s the refund policy?
We understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may not be able to attend a course that you have paid for.
If you need to cancel your registration for any reason please noitfy us:
7 days in advance with notification: We will refund your course fee but will deduct an administrative fee of 10%.
Less than 48 hrs in advance with notification: We are unable to provide a refund but would allow you to send someone in your place or apply the full amount as credit towards a future course.
Without notification/ No show: Sorry, without notification if you do not show on the date of the course we are unable to provide a refund.
